"Free Equestria! Cast down the tyrants!" What began as just another black market beneath the notice of the Houses of Equestria has blossomed into a threat that they can no longer ignore. Since the beginning of hostilities, there have been resistances and insurrections, each attempting to claim power only to be quashed by the might of the Houses. However, while these scraps were once looked upon as pathetic and relatively harmless, a surging movement among the disparate and downtrodden of Equestrian territories has made it clear that the rebellious ponies have acquired the one thing that the Houses cannot abide them to have: A leader with the charisma and strength of character to stand against them. Important Facts about the Caravan: -led by a young mare known as Shamrock Isle, who is credited with having penned And Celestia Wept; -begun as a smuggling cartel, has evolved into an organized underground revolution with the ambitious goal of overthrowing and eradicating all five Houses and the Cult of Laughter; -has the uncanny ability to infiltrate just about any fortification regardless of defenses and set up "Caravan Markets". This mobility is also used to stock the Caravan, as many of the goods they sell are stolen from the Houses' military forces; -despite the best efforts of the Houses, the methods the Caravan uses to move its goods and members undetected remains unknown. Not even the best trackers or scrying magics have been able to determine their whereabouts or the location of their bases, if any exist; -manifesto, And Celestia Wepty is banned in all House territories as a subversive and heretical text. Mere possession of a copy is a capital offense in most House-controlled cities; -all are welcome to join the Caravan, which teaches that each race of pony is an equal part of a whole herd. The actual methods of recruitment, however, are not well understood, preventing most attempts to place spies and informants in the Caravan; Cl)t Caraban Important Facts About Shamrock Isle -according to the opening of And Celestia Wept, Shamrock was raised in an inn on the outskirts of Shetland and is actually a mix-breed, her sire an earth pony and her mother a unicorn; -following the "Purge of Shetland" by the Celestial Inquisition 14 years ago, which wiped the town off the map, Shamrock (age 6 at the time) wandered Equestria as a waif; -founded the Caravan shortly after meeting Swift Justice at age 16. Since its inception, she has taken it from a hooful of smugglers to an Equestria-wide underground movement; -in spite of her position, Shamrock does not see herself a "House leader" and claims no title, simply claiming to be a freedom fighter eager to return peace to Equestria; -combat tactics tend to be to make as big a fool out of her opponent as possible. Her whimsical "all or nothing" gambits often seem outlandish to the point of being suicidal, which leaves ponies at a total loss when they usually work. Many wonder if she plans it all out or makes it up as she goes; -Caravaners are well-aware that Shamrock is not perfect, sometimes secluding herself for days following even the slightest personal failure or loss, wallowing in depression; -famed for being incredibly garrulous. One common warning to those meeting her for the first time is that, if prompted, she will "not...stop...talking." Important Members of the Caravan: -Shamrock Isle - Beautiful St Bold, Charismatic &. Cunning: Shamrock is an enigma to the Houses and a thorn in their sides. In spite of her youth, the mare has the force of personality suggested to be on par with that of the House leaders, causing many disparate ponies to flock under her banner to oppose them; -Mist Walker — appearing to be an albino earth pony filly no older than twelve, Mist is the single most valuable asset the Caravan possesses and the secret of its success. Possessed of powers beyond even the Arch-Magister's wildest dreams, Mist's true nature and origins are a mystery to all but a few select ponies; -Captain Swift Justice - former Royal Guard Captain and a founder of House Stormwing, Swift was a vocal opponent of Rainbow Dash’s rise to power. After Dash was named Force Commander Supreme, Swift disappeared, most assuming him silenced as Dash consolidated her authority. How Shamrock secured the loyalty of this war-hawk is unknown, but nopony argues that the gruff old stallion is a formidable ally, acting as Shamrock's Enforcer; -Master Cartwright Noble Heart - idealistic earth pony engineer and inventor from Trottingham. Highly intelligent and energetic, the Caravan's unique wagons, along with multiple other devices, are attributed to his designs. While Shamrock may be the heart of the Caravan, there is no doubt that Noble is its brain; -Mama Zeria — elderly and eccentric blind zebra mare. The aged Mama Zeria is a master alchemist with a zest for life. Following a vision that depicted a terrible catastrophe, she has joined up with the Caravan in an attempt to help avert the unspeakable future she has glimpsed.
