The original movie features a lot of silly things, ranging from baffling decisions by the characters, huge plot holes, and even kind of a doofy setting. We plan to match the doofiness and magnify it! Starting with the first questions: Why was the main villain a pony if they were going to be from human universe? Why was the mirror sitting out in the open unguarded? Isn't an inter-dimensional mirror a really terrible, portentous thing to leave sitting in your living room? How come Luna never helps out when there's trouble? Are those cookie trains bad for the environment? Isn't there anything more important to steal than the elements of harmony? And that's all in the first four minutes! We've got a lot more. The intro is also spectacular to an amazing degree, put together entirely by Petirep on his lonesome, which is no small feat. We'll be scaling back on the art a bit after these flashy scenes, and we hope to have the first part of our last hurrah to RDP by some time in January!
