Derpmood - 3D Dancelax,Film,,Derpy was excited seeing Pinkie Pie on that trampoline (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ9Pmyzf8uA), but when she tried it, she just couldn't avoid instinctively opening her wings in mid-air. But it inspired her to try dancing instead! After "Not Too Many Pinkie Pies", this is the second time I came across an appealing animation while listening to an awesome chiptune. The chemistry between the two compelled me to combine them in another video and yet again I have learned a tiny bit about video editing. This time, synchronizing the music to the animation felt crucial to me. And it was tricky, because I didn't want to alter the music (it sounds fine with the pitch and speed it has), and all the math needed to figure out that the music has an odd 125.6 bpm and then to get the animation to the proper speed made my head smoke. But I'm proudly stating that I have achieved perfect accuracy. (I brought the source animation to precisely 12.56 fps and then uprendered to 24 fps for Youtube. ... Should have chosen 30 fps for the sake of the visualizer effect, but I won't go through the process again. ... Next time.) Even more impressive is that Derpy has no problem keeping perfect timing either. The music is "Dubmood - 3D Galax". There is an invisible glass panel above her head. I really felt this was necessary ... considering her past experiences with rain clouds. (This video is kinda electro-cute, though.) Just like back then, her stomping is building up the voltage. I examined how it works with the clouds and tweaked the dancefloor a little.
