It wasn't meant to be long at all ... I was going to go to sleep tonight, but came up with this piano riff instead. I quickly jotted down some lyrics in about an hour, then recorded it just around midnight. Turned into a song dedicated to Cheerilee, from an old student of hers. I hope it gives you feels. :) I'm also proud to dedicate this song to all teachers everywhere--the ones who inspire, reach out, and dedicate their lives to improving the lives of kids. Really great teachers are rare, but they deserve our utmost respect.
